Who we are and what we do
Since our founding in 2002, Bastion Foundation, Inc. (BFI), which was re-incorporated in 2017, has been committed to creating pathways to stability, self-reliance, and hope. Our mission is to empower individuals and communities both locally in Nashville, Tennessee, and internationally in southeastern Nigeria, through compassionate and sustainable support programs.
In Nashville, we focus on restoring dignity to homeless individuals, providing essential resources and assistance to help them rebuild their lives. We are also dedicated to serving young widows in southeastern Nigeria, offering vocational training and financial aid to empower them to establish small businesses and achieve economic independence. Additionally, BFI provides scholarships to orphans in the region, ensuring they remain in school and receive a solid foundation for a brighter future.
Looking forward to 2025, we plan to assist in the renovation of a primary and a High Schools in Umunya, Anambra State, creating a better learning environment for the next generation. In Nashville, we are also preparing to launch a program dedicated to supporting young single mothers, offering the resources they need to build secure and nurturing homes.
Thank you for visiting Bastion Foundation, Inc. Together, we are fostering resilience and paving the way to a more hopeful tomorrow.
